Description The California poppy ‘Aurantiaca Orange’ produce magnificent bright orange flowers along side the plant’s delicate blue-green, finely divided foliage. California Poppies are a hardy annual, growing to 40cm in height and flower extensively throughout Summer. They prefer a sunny position, that can be grown in all soil conditions, and are drought tolerant. California Poppy herb may assist with sleeping issues (insomnia), aches, nervous agitation, bed-wetting in children, and diseases of the bladder and liver. It is also said to promote relaxation.   Common Name: Golden Poppy; California Sunlight; Cup of Gold.   Germination Tips: Sow Eschscholzia californica seeds 3-5mm deep in direct position or punnets. Keep moist. Best to sow in early Spring. Seeds will germinate in 14-21 days with a soil temp. of 16-21°C. These plants are very drought tolerant once established. Water sparingly—overwatering promotes foliage at the expense of blooms.
